Reptile Run a Fantastic Day at Buckeye

On Sunday, May 19th, Buckeye Charity Poker was proud to host The Reptile Run, a 100 mile poker run presented by The Copperheads and Usual Suspects Motorcycle Clubs to benefit The Ghostriders Foundation and Wags 4 Warriors.  This event was a huge success raising big money for these fantastic causes and a great time was had by all.

Reptile Run Ends Poker Run at Buckeye Today

The Reptile Run, presented by The Copperheads and Usual Suspects Motorcycle Clubs to benefit The Ghostrider Foundation and Wags 4 Warriors kicked off this morning from Southeast Harley Davidson and will end this afternoon at 4 PM at Buckeye. Hundreds of riders started this event this morning and we are looking forward to the arrival of the Poker Runners. Our Sunday $100 Deepstack will run at 5 PM with a large field resulting from this group and to benefit their fantastic cause!

New Tournament Schedule Announced

Buckeye Charity Poker has today announced its new tournament schedule for the months of May & June.  This tournament schedule has several changes including a new $30 Super Satellite to The Monthly $1000 Deepstack every Wednesday at NOON and a new $50 PLO tournament that will spread every Tuesday at 7 PM beginning June 4th. Reptile Run Set to Draw Hundreds to Buckeye Sunday May 19th

This Sunday, May 19th, Buckeye Charity Poker will serve as the terminus of the 2013 Reptile Run presented by The Copperheads and Usual Suspects Motorcycle Clubs in support of The Ghostrider Foundation and Wags 4 Warriors. This poker run will start at Southeast Harley Davidson at 11 AM, travel to Carlton Harley Davidson, to the World Famous Iron Horse Saloon then the Time Out Grille, Delaney’s and finally arrive at Buckeye Charity Poker at about 4 PM.  Last year over 800 bikers participated in the Reptile Run and we at Buckeye are proud to be hosting the awards events.

Concessions will be provided by Jimbo’s Concessions and Buckeye will present our $100 Sunday Deepstack Tourney at 5 PM along with our usual array of Blackjack and Cash Poker action in addition to the awards and raffles to be conducted as part of the Reptile Run. We invite everyone to Buckeye to get a $10 ticket to participate in the Reptile Run which includes a chance at a 51 inch plasma TV that will be raffled at Buckeye on Sunday evening. This will be a great time for a GREAT CAUSE!

Mayfield High Athletic Boosters Continue Very Successful Fundraising Festival

This weekend and for the next few days, Buckeye is proud to be hosting Coach Larry and Joann Pinto as they organize a very successful fundraising festival to benefit Mayfield High School Athletic Boosters. The first days of the event have seen impressive community support acknowledging the great benefits provided by high school athletics.  We invite everyone to come visit Buckeye to support the wonderful charitable causes promoted by our amazing festival hosts.

Will Burge & ESPN Cleveland to Host Monthly $260 + $40 Deepstack on May 11th at 4 PM

Will Burge, ESPN Cleveland Browns Beat Reporter and host of 3 Deep on 850 AM/WKNR will be hosting the May $300 Deepstack this Saturday, May 11th at 4 PM.  This event, to benefit Mayfield High School Athletics, promises to attract a very large field and generate a huge prize pool.  Will will also be participating in a 10 Seat Sit N Go Tourney at 2:30 where WKNR listeners will have an opportunity to win a seat in the $300 Deepstack. Saturday evening at 7 PM will also present Buckeye players with a chance to win a seat in the June $1000 Deepstack by playing in the $115 Super Satellite.

$1000 Deepstack a Huge Success – Now on Regular Tourney Schedule

The $1000 Deepstack that ran at Buckeye Charity Poker on Sunday May 5th was a HUGE success with 26 entrants and a $26,000 prize pool. As the first running of the Biggest Buy-In Tournament in Ohio Poker Room History, players came from near and far to compete.

Congratulations to Joseph C who traveled from Columbus to capture the $1000 Deepstack Tourney and drove home $10,400 richer. Congratulations also to Boris N who finished second and Gary F who finished third, cashing $7800 and $5200. Mark C took fourth place and cashed $2600.

This $1000 Deepstack Tournament will now run on the first Sunday of each month at Buckeye, with the next running slated for June 2nd. We will also be offering $115 Super Satellites into the tourney twice every week – Wednesdays at NOON and Saturdays at 7 PM.

TODAY IS THE DAY!

Today is the day! $1000 DEEPSTACK AT 3 PM. Four players have entered through the Super Satellites and DOZENS MORE have committed to play. This tournament will be HUGE with 12% of the field cashing and a tourney fee of less than only 7%. This is the Biggest Buy-In Tourney in Ohio Poker Room History and it will be AWESOME. Interested players have called from Columbus, Toledo & Pittsburgh.

We opened at NOON with the warm-up $10 Re-Buy Tourney at 1 PM and the concluding $100 Deepstack at 5 PM. Free food & drink all day as we celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

Huge Weekend Slated for Buckeye

This weekend at Buckeye Charity Poker should be incredible with multiple tournaments scheduled for each day highlighted by The $1000 Deepstack, the Biggest Buy-In Tourney in Ohio Poker Room History, Sunday at 3 PM. The weekend festivities kick-off with today’s NOON Lunchtime Tourney – the $10 Re-Buy that has been attracting very impressive fields for an afternoon tournament.  This evening at 7 PM we have the Fabulous Friday Bounty Tourney which gives players multiple opportunities to cash.

The Saturday tourneys open with the 1 PM Buckeye Bonus Tourney that generates an amazing prize pool from the promotional buy-ins awarded to players that have played as little as 10 hours at Buckeye during the preceding week.

At 7 PM on Saturday is the Final Super Satellite to the $1000 Deepstack that will allow players to win a seat in the Biggest Poker Tourney in the History of Ohio Poker Rooms for a $115 Buy-In. For every 10 players entering the Saturday Super Satellite, one seat in the $1000 Deepstack will be awarded. Saturday will also see amazing cash poker action with the Unlimited Buy-In – Biggest Baddest PLO on the Planet spreading at NOON and running all day in addition to our regular cash poker spreads of Best PLO, $1/$2 No Limit Hold’em and the new $2/$4 Limit Hold’em.

On Sunday, Buckeye will run 3 Hold’em Tournaments starting with a $10 Re-Buy at 1 PM and the HUGE $1000 Buy-In Deepstack at 3 PM.  The $1000 Deepstack has a reduced tourney fee of less than 7% ($1000 + $75) and will pay 12% of the field. Based upon the buzz this tournament has sparked and the number of players that have indicated their intention to enter, it is expected that this tournament will attract a very impressive field and will make its way onto Buckeye’s regular tournament schedule and run on the first Sunday of every month with 2 weekly satellites.

The Huge Tournament Weekend will close with the fantastic $100 Sunday Deepstack at 5 PM that has been drawing fields of 50 or more players.
